Elden Wittmier

After graduating high school, Elden attended the Programming and Systems Analysist course at Herzing Institute. He discovered that he really wasn't interested in a desk job since he enjoyed interacting with people. He worked for 2 years in direct life insurance for a major company before joining Lawton Partners in 1978, becoming a principal in 1985. He serves as one of the company's trading officials.

Many of his clients have been with him for more than two decades. He credits this to dedicating his life and practice on the simple fact that people matter to him. He works hard and diligently to ensure that each of his clients is well positioned to achieve success.

He has further earned the trust and respect of clients as a result of his ability to provide consistent, honest, unbiased approaches and strategies for capital accumulation, retirement planning, estate conservation and intergenerational wealth transfer, which have withstood numerous changes in the financial services industry.

Elden and his support team employ the latest strategies to equip clients with the knowledge, technology and skills to make better, well-informed decisions toward assessing and achieving their financial objectives.

Elden adopts his business philosophy from the ideals of the Rotary Club, with whom he has been a member since 1984. In 1998, he was recognized as a “Paul Harris Fellow” for service above self as a Rotarian in his community and his international work. Elden Serves as president for St. Boniface/St. Vital Rotary in 1988/89.

He is proud of his participation with a focus group that ultimately resulted in the establishment of an international youth camp program that fosters international peace, goodwill and understanding. In addition, Elden has assisted individuals and corporations to establish foundations that provide millions of dollars to support Manitoba 's hospitals and universities.

Elden and his wife Diane recently celebrated thirty years of marriage and have two adult children. In his leisure time, he enjoys fishing, golf, downhill skiing, working on cottage projects or tinkering with his 1953 Ford pickup.
