Jim Thiessen
Associate
Jim works with his clients to make their financial affairs better. Whether current, retirement or estate planning, Jim works closely with his clients to find solutions and plans to help them reach their financial objectives.
His background includes activities as manager, business owner, community leader and consultant. Jim's experience in all the walks of life, help him in understanding individual needs and objectives.
In his years at Lawton Partners Jim has enjoyed the freedom of choice clients have for investments and the ability to provide truly independent advice.

Over the years, he has contributed his time and talents in numerous capacities as a volunteer with the Manitoba Division of the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Association of Manitoba, Tuxedo Community Centre, Canadian Diabetes Association, St. Paul 's High School and Balmoral Hall School . He also served as Past President of the West End Biz.
Jim most enjoys spending family time with his wife of more than 25 years, Barbara, and his two children Lauren and Brett. He enjoys an active lifestyle, his interests including running, hiking, fishing, and hockey.
