Susan Stobart

Susan’s commitment to providing clients with personal yet professional financial planning reflects back to her childhood when she worked as one of the Winnipeg Free Press’ first female paper carriers. Susan’s early entrepreneurial skills coupled with her dedication to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction was recognized with numerous provincial awards.

These early experiences taught Susan the value of working in a career where one’s skills can help others.

In 1978, Susan began as an associate of Lawton Partners, later becoming a principal in 2002.
She has put more than a quarter-century of direct financial planning experience to work in meeting and exceeding the expectations and needs of her clients. Susan was one of the first female advisors in Canada to receive the designation of Chartered Financial Planner.

Susan prides herself on the many long-term professional relationships that have developed out of her sincere interest in servicing the best needs of her clients. She realizes the importance of providing clients with options uniquely suited to their individual requirements, and to bring logic and ease of understanding to every situation, regardless of the complexities involved.

Susan specializes in retirement and estate planning, tax planning, cash flow planning and comprehensive financial planning. She counts on ability, knowledge, flexibility and time hardened intuition and/or experience in working with clients to create and achieve their immediate and long-term goals.

Susan's busy schedule does not preclude her involvement in outside activities. She has been active as a volunteer with Variety, the Children's Charity of Manitoba for a number of years, where her husband Wayne Rogers is Executive Director. Susan is also delighted to have joined the Board of Manitoba Theatre Centre in 2005. In her spare time, Susan enjoys golfing, reading, travelling, and daily exercise.
