Sean Lawton joined Lawton Partners in 2001 after spending four years working in Toronto at a leading investment management company. While attending the University of Manitoba he had his first experience in the financial service industry by working with one of the chartered banks..

Sean enjoys working with clients to identify their needs and determine appropriate solutions that will put them on a path to ultimately reach their goals.

Sean is married to Michelle and they have 3 children. Although busy raising a young family, he likes to relax by playing squash and enjoying the outdoors.

Sean takes an active involvement in the community as a volunteer with Ducks Unlimited and assists The United Way in their annual capital campaign. He also currently serves on the Advocis Winnipeg board
