As a fully qualified Actuary and CFA Charterholder, Greg's clients benefit from an unparalleled combination of investment experience and professional expertise. Since his graduation from university in 1981, he has served in a number of positions in the financial services industry, most recently as a Consulting Actuary and Vice President with Aon Consulting, an international consulting firm. Prior to that he spent 10 years in the pension and investment areas of two major Canadian insurance companies, where he held positions of increasing responsibility while completing his actuarial exams His move to Lawton Partners in 2004 reflects the fulfillment of his desire to provide his services from a world-class, locally based financial services organization.

| Greg wears two hats at the firm. The first is his personal financial planning practice, where he provides multi-disciplined financial planning services to individual, family, and corporate clients. The second is with our Pension and Actuarial Services Division, where he manages the firm's actuarial and institutional investment services to company and executive pension plans and group RRSPs, and provides actuarial services to lawyers on civil litigation and related matters.
Greg and his wife Margaret are both lifelong Winnipeggers committed to the business, cultural, and social success of their city. They are both strong proponents of community involvement, and Greg has been involved for many years in a number of roles with the United Way and with CNIB.
For recreation, Greg enjoys running, hiking, sailing, travel of all types. He, Margaret, and their two daughters enjoy many of these activities together, and also enjoy participating in the many arts and cultural events available in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
Greg's personable, outgoing attitude and his desire to open and transparent in all of his client dealings are reflected in his work. His philosophy is: “Do the right things for my clients, using the best of my knowledge and resources, and earn their trust for the long term.”
