Laurie Baird

Laurie has been involved in the financial planning profession for more than 25 years.

Laurie's extensive background as a chartered accountant is put to excellent use in helping his clients at Lawton Partners grow, preserve, and then harvest their wealth.

While the result of his work and dedication to his clients has been nationally recognized by those in the tax profession and its related fields, Laurie most enjoys the satisfaction that comes from helping his clients succeed. In fact, it was Laurie's desire to work more extensively with clients that led him to join Lawton Partners in 1997 as an associate adviser. He became a principal in 2002.
Today, after more than a quarter century in the financial planning business, Laurie feels his greatest compliment comes from having earned the opportunity to work with his earliest clients as well as their children, who are now independently planning their own financial futures with him.

Laurie has served as a member of the Finance Committee at the Health Sciences Centre Foundation. Laurie and his wife, Jill, have been married for more than 20 years and have three children. The family enjoys cross-country and downhill skiing and spending time at the cottage.
